Student Voice and Responsibility
The Academy believes strongly in student voice and allowing young people to form and express their opinion. This is encouraged through a variety of pupil responsibility roles in the school.
Becoming a House Captain
All year 6 pupils are invited to apply for the role and each application is considered by staff in making a decision on the appointment. The pupils appointed will be able to manage situations, groups, and take a lead in performing tasks. They also possess a keen sense of duty, are mature in outlook and display self-discipline in their own approach to life.
