At Hamstreet Primary Academy, we work with children and their families to identify individual needs and provide support so that every child can participate, learn and achieve.

Mrs Hayes is available at the school gate on Wednesday and Thursday mornings for quick queries or to request an appointment. For a confidential discussion, please arrange a separate meeting.

Concerns about SEND provision
Please speak to your child’s class teacher or our SENCO if you have concerns about the support your child receives. If your concern remains unresolved, please contact the Head of School. Our complaints procedure explains the next steps available.

We work to remove barriers so that pupils with disabilities can access learning and participate in school life.
Our Accessibility Policy and Plan sets out how we aim to improve access to the curriculum, the school environment and information.

Concerns and complaints
If you have concerns about your child’s SEND provision, please speak to their class teacher or our SENCO. We will work with you to understand your concerns and seek a resolution.
If you wish to make a formal complaint, our ACE Learning Complaints Policy explains how to do this and the subsequent review stages. Complaints about school staff should be addressed to the Head of School through the school office. Complaints about the Head of School should be addressed to the Trust’s Chief Executive Officer through the school office.
